Refer to the following table for information about registration options and deadlines for each test date. Please be aware that not all tests are available on all test dates; refer to "Test Selection" for test availability information.

The 2008–2009 test dates below are provided for your information. Registration for these dates will open during the summer of 2008. Not all tests are available on all test dates.

The deadline for submission of requests and all necessary documentation for alternative testing arrangements is the standard registration deadline. Because of space, staff, and time constraints, there can be no assurance that requests received after this deadline can be accommodated.
Internet Registration Both registration periods. To register on the Internet, your registration must be completed by 4:00 p.m. mountain time on the applicable registration deadline.
U.S. Mail Registration Standard registration period only. To register by mail during the standard registration period, your registration materials must be received by the standard registration deadline.
Telephone Registration Emergency registration period only. To register by telephone, call (413) 256-2885, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. mountain time, Monday–Friday, excluding the following holidays: September 1, 2008; December 25–26, 2008; and January 1, 2009. You must call by 4:00 p.m. mountain time on the emergency registration deadline.

* PLACE results for all tests with performance assignments (Basic Skills, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Russian, Spanish, and Special Education Specialist: Visually Impaired) will be available approximately four weeks after the test date.

** For the September 2008 test date, score reports for the Mathematics and Special Education Generalist tests may be delayed due to standard setting activities.
